Kiss me like you wanna be loved
Like you wanna be loved
Like you wanna be loved
This feels like falling in love
Like falling in love
Decided to edit my blog’s theme after months of procrastination. What do you think? :)
I was looking for a breath of life
A little touch of heavenly light
But all the choirs in my head say
oooh oooh oooh
To get a dream of life again
A little vision of sun in the air
What would you do if it seems like everyone’s out to get you?
Med school 2012.
Scared as hell.
I can and will do this :)
I know I said that I will be posting a pic of that vintage Ralph Lauren satchel that I bought but my laptop crashed and I still need to have it fixed.
Anyway, I found this pic of a satchel that looks exactly like mine. It also weighs a ton when filled with all the stuff that I need to bring whenever I go out which is a pain so I stopped using it : (
The backstory:
While browsing through thrift stalls, I came across a brown leather satchel. Keep in mind that when you want to buy from thrift shops, you cannot expect things to be brand new. You’d be lucky if they were only twice or thrice used. But this satchel was perfection. It was clean, beautiful and most of all, brand new (according to the person manning the bags). Since I should be doing errands instead of browsing, I decided to come back for it, if there was any money left. Hahaha.
However, when I came back, the sales person told me that he already sold it to someone who paid the full amount (Tip: If you are running short on payment, just give a certain amount as deposit and return for your item as soon as you can. However, this does not guarantee that the item is yours as the sales person can and will give it to the customer who can pay the full amount first.)
Disappointed, I purchased the next best option. A plain, almost brand new satchel in teal and blue that was sold to me for less than $10 (Another tip: Haggle! They will give in to your desired price sooner or later just to stop you from pestering them. Hahaha). It had the label Ralph Lauren on it but I wasn’t so sure if it was the authentic item.
The current reality:
Lo and behold. After almost 3 months, I finally decided to search more about this bag on the internet and I was surprised by what I found. My satchel is authentic. It belonged to a line of bags under the Blackwatch Collection which was released by Ralph Lauren in the late 80’s or early 90’s. Geez. It is actually authentic vintage. And it sells for almost $800. Talk about a very good bargain. Hahaha.
Will post a pic of it soon :)
